Versid ActiveX Controls Provide Wide Compatibility
Versid, Inc. supports programming for most versions of PocketPC, Windows Mobile Edition and Windows CE by making available ActiveX controls that can be used with most Microsoft Visual IDEs for mobile development.

These Versid ActiveX controls can also be used with most application programs that provide an ActiveX interface and some sort of scripting language. For example, Web pages that display and update temperatures from the Versid module can be created using Pocket Internet Explorer (and other mobile, ActiveX compatible browsers such as the Symbol Technologies PocketBrowser) and JavaScript.

Code examples for many development environments, including embedded versions of Visual Basic and Visual C are provided with the Versid Developers Kit.

Windows Compatible Pre-Compiled C Libraries
Versid, Inc. also offers pre-compiled libraries that can be used to create sophisticated programs for Windows-based mobile computers using tools such as the Visual Studio IDE.

These libraries allow programmed access to all of the Versid Module features including temperature access, battery level checks, serial number identification and firmware version information.
